ALBATROSS Hand-tied Fishing Rigs

Several styles of casting shark rigs and surf rigs, for saltwater adventures. Custom rigs are available upon request. Remember to practice the safe handling and release of sharks and large predatory fish.

Surf Rigs

Surf rigs are made with 30-100lb mono and copolymer line. Hooks are offset and inline circle ranging in size from 2/0 - 9/0. Swivels are 310-600lb. Custom surf rigs are available upon request.

Albatross rigs are hand-tied in Maryland and tested in the Outer Banks. All components are of high quality and assembled with an attention to detail.

Surfcasting Shark Rigs

Three styles of casting shark rigs meant to handle a variety of surf conditions, bait sizes and sharks. Each style is available in two to three different setups. Custom shark rigs are available upon request.

All rigs are made from quality components

Shark rigs are made using AFW single-strand wire and Lindgren-Pitman heavy mono.

Bottom rigs are made with Sufix Tritanium plus copolymer line and Triple Fish mono leader.
