Surf Rigs

From kingfish and croaker to large drum, rockfish and blues. Albatross ties rigs to meet a multitude of situations and target species. Surf rigs include hi-lo rigs, fish finders, fish finder float rigs, triple rig and fireball rig. Be prepared on your next surf fishing adventure and ready for action, with Albatross hand-tied surf rigs.

Albatross rigs are hand-tied in Maryland and tested in the Outer Banks. They have been refined over time. Haywire twists are tied by hand, without the use of a haywire tool. All hooks on Albatross surf rigs are snelled, with exception of crimped rigs. Components are of high quality and assembled with an attention to detail.

Shark rigs are made using AFW single-strand wire and Lindgren-Pitman heavy mono.

Bottom rigs are made with Sufix Tritanium plus copolymer line and Triple Fish mono leader.
