Feedback, Fishing pictures and Stories

I would like to hear how my rigs are working for people in different fishing situations.   I would also like to create a space where fishing pictures and stories can be posted from customers.   If you have pictures of fish caught with Albatross rigs and would like to post them to the site, please send them to albatrosstackle@gmail.com.   Feel free to include thoughts on rig performance.  Tight lines - Joe

 

My brother with a nice shark caught on the Hi-Flyer light casting shark rig.   We were fishing near Avon in the Outer Banks.   November 2023

Myself with an 8' sand tiger caught on the Hi-Flyer (38").   November 2024

On the same night, November 2024, my brother Andrew with a 42" red drum.   Caught on the Hi-Flyer slide rig with 9/0 hook.

Another nice November shark, this time on the Surf Hammer.  November 2023

April 2025- A hammerhead on the Hi-Flyer slide rig.   A nice fight on the 10.5 rod. 

November 2025- Andrew with a nice shark after dark.   One of four he caught that night on consecutive casts.   Caught on the hi-flyer (48") with 9/0 hook.   

November 2025 - A sand tiger from the outer banks surf.   Caught on the hi-flyer (48") with 9/0 hook. 

November 2025 - A nice shark and great fight.   Caught on the drum and shark cable rig with 6/0 hook.
