Surf Hammer: Casting Shark Rig

The Surf Hammer is a rig to be reconned with.  Designed for large sharks, it is made to deliver large baits and weights into the surf.   The 48" length allows for a more powerful cast and slingshot action.    Necessary when throwing large baits.   The 12/0 Mustad can support such baits and provide a clean hook up on a large shark.   550lb mono provides strong abrasion protection behind 360lb single strand wire.
